University of Illinois Alumni Association

A national leader in alumni relations, the University of Illinois Alumni Association is a university-related organization that was founded by alumni in 1873. Its purpose is to foster loyalty and camaraderie among the university community and to effect united action in promoting the welfare of the university. All 670,000 alumni and current students are members of the Alumni Association, making it the largest in the nation. Private contributions enable individuals to upgrade their membership status with premium benefits, recognition and university gift credit. Non-alumni faculty and staff also may become members of the association, upon request.
